Shipping Policy

Delivery Timescales

Where an ordered item is in stock, our objective is to process your order within one working day and to dispatch your goods for delivery or collection within 2-3 working days. For goods that are temporarily out of stock, we will endeavour to arrange delivery/collection of your goods within 10 working days.  During our peak Back-to-School (BTS) trading period, these timescales may be extended due to the volume of orders received and, for home deliveries, the increased workload of our couriers.  We thank you for your patience throughout BTS.

Delivery Options

You will be offered all applicable delivery options during the check-out process.  Currently, we offer 2 options:

Click & Collect – Once you have received confirmation that your order has been dispatched and is ready for collection, you can visit our store in South Woodham Ferrers where our staff will pass on your order.  Please bring with you your confirmation (printed or on a mobile device) as proof of purchase.  During BTS, we would appreciate it if collections are made by individuals rather than family groups as there may be limited space within the store.

Home Delivery – Whilst we would love to offer free home delivery on all online orders, the ever-increasing costs of courier services means it would not be economically viable to do so.  However, to maximise the benefit and convenience to those of you requiring home delivery, we subsidise this service and make a single small charge (see charges below) for all home delivery orders in the UK.  Orders will generally be delivered by our partner courier service, DPD Local.  As part of this premier service, you will be notified, in advance, of the scheduled 1 hour delivery slot.  Should this be inconvenient, you will have the opportunity to change the date/time.  Occasionally, we may use an alternative carrier, such as first class Royal Mail or Parcel Force.

Delivery Charges

Patricia's applies delivery charges to cover a proportion of the cost of packaging and postage/courier services.  Our policy is to subsidise the total costs NOT to profit from these additional charges.

The following delivery charges will apply:

Collection from Store: FREE

Home Delivery: £6.95

Special Delivery: £11.00​

Return & Exchange Policy

If you have changed your mind or are dissatisfied with your purchase all returns must be made in person at the store location. Exchanges are also available at the store in person only.

As per standard regulations, return and exchange items brought back to the store must be in resellable condition otherwise they will be rejected. From the date of purchase, there will be a 28-day window to return/exchange items, we will be unable to take back any items after this 28-day window has finished.
